Wildfire Resilience Story Map

We are THRILLED to announce the launch of our brand-new Wildfire Resilience StoryMap featuring the Conifer Wildland Division and the science-based, neighborhood-focused approach we're taking to strengthen wildfire resilience—both now and into the future.
This StoryMap is more than just a presentation—it's a living, evolving resource that will continue to grow as we add updates, share videos, and respond to your feedback. (One section is still "under construction"—thank you in advance for your patience!)
Start your journey at the beginning and be sure to watch the short intro video on “Our Risk.” From there, explore at your own pace! Key sections include:
- Our Risk - Understanding wildfire risk in the Conifer area
- What the Conifer Wildland Division Is - Who we are and what we do
- History of the Division - How we got here
- What We're Doing - Our operational plan for 2025 and beyond
- What YOU Can Do - Practical and impactful steps you can take to help protect your home and community
Wildfire resilience takes all of us. This StoryMap connects residents, the Division, and science to help build a safer, more fire-resilient community.
We want this to be a community-driven tool. Ask questions or email comments to info@elkcreekfire.org. Tell us what else you'd like to see. Your input helps shape our future efforts.
Thank you for being part of the effort to build a safer, more fire-resilient community. Let’s do this—together.
