Earlier this month, Elk Creek Fire Protection District sent one of our firefighters to the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Honor Guard Academy at the North Metro Training Facility in Erie. It is a week long program during which first responders train to provide a solemn and official function at funerals and other events.
